This page outlines the terms and conditions related to private chef services.
They define the booking framework and how events are carried out.
Pre-service visit
A physical pre-service visit (preferred) or a detailed exchange (phone, video call, photos, videos) can be arranged if necessary, in order to validate technical conditions and ensure the smooth running of the service.
Tableware and presentation
Tableware plays an important role in the presentation of my dishes. Depending on the type and style of tableware available at your home, I may bring my own to maintain the aesthetic and atmosphere of my service. This adjustment does not incur any additional cost and will be agreed upon during the pre-service visit.
Cleanliness of the premises
The kitchen must be clean and tidy before the service.
At the end of the service, I will leave the kitchen in a clean and orderly state, corresponding to normal post-use tidying (routine cleaning, not a full deep clean).
Access to the home
Please ensure access to your home and kitchen at the agreed time, so that the service can run smoothly and under the best conditions.
Required kitchen equipment
The private chef service requires a functional and clean kitchen upon my arrival, including at minimum:

a working oven

functional stovetop burners

a refrigerator with available space

accessible water supply

a clear countertop
Any specific equipment related to menu preparation will be provided by me when necessary.
Booking and payment

The service is confirmed once the quote is approved.

A 50% deposit of the total amount is required upon confirmation.

The balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the service.
Bookings are ideally made 2 to 4 weeks in advance, depending on the nature of your request, in order to ensure the quality of preparation, the selection of fresh ingredients, and the smooth running of your in-home culinary experience.
For shorter notice requests, please feel free to contact me to check availability. In this case, the menu may be adjusted depending on the available preparation time and current constraints.
Dish selection
To ensure everything goes smoothly and that your meal is enjoyable for everyone, each course of the menu is chosen collectively: everyone will have the same starter, the same main course, and the same dessert or cheese. This allows for a smooth service and enables me to cook under the best conditions. Choices must therefore be finalized before the event, in agreement with all guests.
Thank you for your understanding, as this ensures a shared and successful experience for everyone.
Number of guests
Services are offered for a limited number of guests, as defined in the quote.
Any changes to the number of guests must be communicated in advance and may result in a price adjustment or cancellation.
Depending on the number of guests, an additional server may be required to ensure the smooth running of the service and the comfort of everyone.
In this case, an additional cost will apply, agreed upon in advance when the quote is confirmed.
Image rights
Photos and videos may be taken during the service for communication purposes. They may be used on my website and social media, unless you explicitly refuse their use before the service.
Allergies and dietary restrictions
Any allergy, intolerance, or specific dietary requirement must be communicated at the time of the request and confirmed when the menu is finalized.
In the absence of clear and complete information, I cannot be held responsible.
After the performance
Any leftovers may be left at your home upon request, under your responsibility, in compliance with hygiene rules.
I cannot be held responsible for any improper use of the dishes after the service.
Reschedulling and Cancellation
Any booked service may be rescheduled or canceled under certain conditions:
If you need to reschedule or cancel:

More than 7 days before the service: no fees

Less than 7 days before: 50% deposit retained

Less than 48 hours or on the day of the service: 100% of the total amount due

For any rescheduling or cancellation due to medical reasons, force majeure, or other exceptional circumstances, a supporting document will be requested to determine the status of the deposit
If I need to reschedule or cancel:

In case of illness, accident, or major unforeseen circumstances, the service may be rescheduled to a date agreed with you, in which case the deposit will be retained. If you do not wish to keep the service on a new date, you may cancel, and the deposit will be refunded.
Non-compliance with the stated conditions:

If all conditions stated in the quote are not met, I reserve the right to cancel the service. In this case, the deposit will be retained.
